To join this group, approach a member and express your interest. You may be taken as a slave if you don't quite impress them, though...
High ranks are availiable if you want to make a character!
Sisi ni mabwana ya kweli
Na sisi atashinda
Kama wewe kuwasilisha kwa hiari au kuhitaji kukumbusha
A secretive but warlike coalition from savannahs far, Mabwana Majijenga worships two things - abosolute dominance, and their crimson god-king. Comprised mostly of modern day lions, they crusade for the glory of their lord and take special delight in ritualistic slavery and the breaking of creatures that would dare think themselves superior in any form.
All members of this group adorn themselves in red paint made from crushed beetles and minerals - Higher ranking members of the group will often use blood instead. It is considered arrogant to paint yourself with blood if you are a slave or a low rank.
Laws of the Lords
1. All personal conflicts that prove troublesome are to be settled by ritualistic combat between the involved parties. Killing is permitted as long as it is in an overseen match and the victim has refused to submit.
2. The word of the Crimson King is law - no creature may disobey under pain of death.
3. To steal from another member, be it slaves or food, is a personal conflict to be decided by ritualistic combat.
4. All creatures may be useful, but dominance must be asserted. A Lord who submits to a stranger is to be stripped of rank.
5. Initiates are subject to the whims of all established members and cannot obey a direct order so long as it does not force them to debase or harm themselves.
6. Slaves are permitted to battle for their freedom in the arena, and if they choose to challenge their master they can take control of their other slaves should they prove victorious.
-More to come-

Beliefs
Blood is sacred - and to shed it from another is to assert dominance. To have it drawn is not shameful unless the wounded is trying to assert themselves. Success in ritualistic combat usually comes from whoever draws the most blood from their opponent. The members of Mabwana Walijenga believe that to drink the blood of a mighty creature is to inherit some of its strength - as such, hunting for such formidable foes is a popular sport in their ranks.
Dominance is the core creed - The more slaves a Lord controls, the stronger he is seen by his fellows. To willingly follow another is not shameful, but to be forced to follow is. There is a strict hierarchy in all aspects of life.
It is permitted to treat outsiders with hostility, but it is honorable to give them the opportunity to serve as a slave. To take a mighty creature as a slave against their will is seen as a sign of power, and will greatly impress a Lord's peers.
Cowardice is abhorrent. It is not shameful to use slaves or pawns to fight, but if forced to combat a Lord is expected to fight until they are forced to submit as alternative to certain death or are killed.
The Crimson King requires blood sacrifice to maintain his power. It is expected of Lord to offer up rare and powerful slaves to His altar so that he might continue to bless the coalition.
Strength and dominance are all that matters. Regardless of social standing, gender or background, any Lord may rise to the highest ranks if he or she meets the requirements.
The Primitives are uncertain things. Though our Crimson King bears some similarities to these creatures, they are a mockery of his glory. They are to be taught submission, unless they are willing to serve under us.
Deserters are to be hunted down on sight. To allow a deserter to live when given a chance to end them is abhorrent, though taking them as a slave to prolong their suffering is permitted. None who mock the Crimson King are to be allowed to live.
The Lords have no static territory - they originate from far away, but roam in their own sub-coalitions freely and are encouraged to conquer new lands to bring the might of the Crimson King to all outsiders.
Vultures are held in high esteem and form the core of the Mabwana scout and spy force. Many members raise vulture chicks as pets and messengers.

Notable Ranks
As Mabwana Walijenga consists of several prides under one banner and some are formed for specific purpose, the ranks which members hold generally depends on what their sect leader desires. These are the ranks that stand out from others inside this group;
The Crimson King
Nobody knows who he is, or where he came from. Nobody even knows WHAT he is, only that he is worshipped as a god of war and shows himself to creatures other than his Priestesses very rarely. Generally, he is thought of as a huge lion with giant teeth, and a blood-red pelt.
Blood Priestesses
An all-female sect of lions and leopards who tend to the Crimson King and pass on his words to the main group. They oversee the coalition, and are second in command to only the Crimson King himself. Most are also members of his harem.
The Vessels
Powerful creatures enslaved to the Blood Priestesses, their bodies are heavily modified to suit their purpose as guardians and sentinels. What this is depends on what their owner wishes them to do - eyes and tongues may be removed, and crude armors may be driven into their flesh. They are usually large Primitives who have been mentally broken until they know nothing but the command of their mistress.
Slaves
A motley collection of creatures enslaved by various means, slaves have to be tough to survive long. They are often pitted in gladitorial combat against each other as part of grand events put on to please the Crimson King, but are fought for sport as well. Slaves are thought of as nothing more than livestock, though owners do sometimes become fond of them and treat them more like pets. Mabwana Walijenga enjoys taking spirited creatures and breaking them into submission, and many members will happily take any opportunity to expand their colelction. Slaves are protected by the coalition as if they were their own against outsiders, but abuse on the inside is still a real threat to them.
Marauders
These tight-knit military units as usually formed of ten or so warriors and two or more scouts. All Marauder units have at least one skilled medic within them, as they are expected to be self sufficient. Their role is to seek out new lands to conquer, gather information and capture potential slaves.
Bounty Hunters
Working alone or in small teams, often aided by vultures, these members seek out escaped slaves, deserters and often function as assassins for high priority enemies. Sometimes, they will integrate themselves with the natives to better understand them, and in turn defeat them...
