Azahira on the surface appears to one of the calm, stoic sort; facial expression usually neutral, with only her eyes as a real clue to what she feels inside. This is somewhat true, as the lioness can be quite calm and unscathed, when in truth she feels plenty of emotions. Even if she is an adult, Azahira is quite young, and as a result, quite curious. Her curious nature has gotten her into sticky situations more than once, but she hasn't stopped her curiosity to this day. This lioness is very protective and motherly as well, and once she gets attached to something, she treats it like family, and vows to never let it go or let it be destroyed. She feels this way about her new pride, Silvestre, and Azahira thinks it's her sworn duty to protect them from harm at all costs, which is why she's very concerned for their safety and dislikes being unable to fight for them when she could be helping defend them and keep them safe.

Backstory:
Azahira comes from an unknown region, which is rumored to be the Obice Mountains located to the south of the Lazarus Peninsula. It was much colder there than it was in the lioness's current location. The region had many steep cliffs and slopes, as well as some valleys and a large pine forest. Azahira was born into a pride that lived in a secluded area, and as a result they were almost unreachable and thus they faced no real threats. The pride was led by Azahira's father, Muniir. Azahira herself was born alongside her brother Memphis and her deceased sister Centa, who died due to health issues shortly after birth. Though Muniir and Ivena were very sad about this, the family and the rest of the pride were unaffected. Azahira and Memphis only came to know about their sister when they were both 2 years of age, when King Muniir decided to share the story with Azahira's brother, claiming he 'had the right to know as the heir'. Memphis, soon after hearing the story, shared it with his sister, who has kept quiet about it to this day. In fact, she hasn't mentioned the story in at least 3 years. Besides that, Azahira had a good uneventful life...until around a month before she left Muniir's pride. The only neighboring pride for miles, ruled by king Ophulus, were kind and non-hostile, like Azahira's own. The two prides had even formed an alliance as extra insurance that the peace between the two groups that had existed for years remained. A hunting party from Muniir's pride had went out one day, and hadn't gone far before they spotted an odd red and brown shape in the snow. To their horror, they'd just discovered the carcass of a lioness from Ophulus's pride. Alarmed, they rushed back to the den to inform the king. Muniir, fearing this would alarm the pride, decided to keep the incident to himself, the hunting party, and his heir, Memphis. Eventually it was decided that a search party was to be sent out to make sure their neighbors were okay. Meanwhile, Memphis told his sister Azahira everything, since he trusted her and they had a close bond. Once the search party found the den, they were met with a surprise. There were bloodstains all over the den, but no bodies or any other evidence to indicate anyone else was around. The den had been attacked, and Ophulus's pride must have fled in the chaos. It was concluded that the dead lioness near the den, bearing several scratch wounds on her legs, a slash on her underbelly and a huge bleeding gash on her neck, had fled during the attack to get help...but died due to her wounds on the way. Muniir once again shared this info with Memphis, who passed it on to Azahira. One month later, Azahira decided to leave the pride due to boredom. Nothing really special ever happened, and she got fed up with day-to-day life in the isolated pride. Once she said her goodbyes, the 4-year-old lioness set off on her travels. As she travelled the various landscapes, she became progressingly more lonely, and eventually wandered into Lazarus. As she traversed the peninsula, she decided she'd join a new pride, and from there she wandered into Fallax Jungle...finding Yuura and joining the Silvestre.
