I feel like this needs a little explanation. This piece comes from Latvia, my home country and one of the best composers that I know of here. The piece is best performed by a winds orchestra, in my opinion. While it starts off mostly in minor, it grows into a beautiful major. This largely describes Calida's expression of love. While she may not show it at first, the feline loves with a passion. The piece is both artistic and lyrical, and I feel that is how Calida expresses her love.
